Cali Espinoza, M.A.
Resident In Counseling
Lorton, Manassas, & Virtual
She/Her
Cali’s goal is to create a welcoming, warm environment where clients can feel comfortable and safe being themselves. She stresses that creating a space free of judgment is the optimal setting for clients to reach goals and build confidence. Judgments/ “could’ve, should’ve” have NO place in her therapy space! She believes that each client deserves to be heard because everyone has different personalities and life experiences. Cali primarily works with children, couples, and families. She utilizes a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques to work with individual clients.
Cali obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Mason University. She then graduated from Liberty University with her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She graduated in late 2024 and is continuing her residency at Apple Tree to pursue her LPC license. She is supervised by Michelle Kauble M.S. LPC.
During her free time, Cali comes from a big family and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching new TV series with her husband, and spending time outside, especially when the weather is warm. She loves music and visiting museums with her kids.
Insurance accepted: Blue Cross/Blue Shield (Anthem Carefirst and Federal Employees), Kaiser Permanente, Cigna, & Optum VA Community Care Network; private pay is $90, first couples appointment is $100.
