Emily graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is currently a graduate-level intern pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Emily will be supervised by Michelle Kauble, M.S., LPC, at Apple Tree Counseling. I plan to graduate with my degree in 2027! She loves the idea of working with children, so Emily also have plans on working towards becoming a play therapist in the future.

Emily has always been passionate about helping people. In fact, her goal in life is to help as many people as she can feel worthy, valued, and appreciated. Emily understands that this world can be challenging to navigate at times, and wants to remind others that they are never alone and that there is always someone out there who cares. Everyone deserves to feel like they have someone to lean on when challenges arise and she wants to be that someone for those who feel like they are alone. Her philosophy about life led me to choose the therapeutic approaches she feels most aligned with: cognitive-behavioral therapy and existential therapy.

In her free time she enjoys going on hikes, listening to music, photographing nature, spending time with friends and family, as well as baking!
