Kierstyn is passionate about walking alongside individuals seeking hope, self-acceptance, & understanding, including helping families in bringing more joy, wholeness, and connection into their lives and relationships. She believes that the therapy experience should be a collaborative process. Kierstyn believes strongly in giving individuals a voice and providing a safe space to express themselves. Her client-centered, trauma informed approaches focuses on evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Kierstyn has therapeutic interests in the areas of mindfulness, parenting and family issues, child and adolescent development, clinical areas of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Kierstyn received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She then graduated from Liberty University with a master’s in clinical and mental health counseling. She graduated in early 2025 and is continuing her residency to pursue her LPC license. She is supervised by Michelle Kauble M.S. LPC.
She enjoys reading romance novels and psychological thrillers when she is not in session. She also loves to travel to new places and taste new foods. Cooking is another hobby that she enjoys when she is at home with her cats!
