She/Her

When Lesly is sitting with you in her warm, supportive presence, having a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions is paramount to her. She believes in empowering clients by building on their strengths and guiding them toward meaningful change whether overcoming past trauma or pursuing personal growth.

Lesly’s counseling approach integrates Humanistic Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, fostering self-awareness, resilience, and practical solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs. With a background in forensic psychology, she brings a deep understanding of the complexities of human behavior and trauma.

Growing up in a Latinx household, Lesly is deeply aware of the stigma surrounding mental health within the Latinx community. She is passionate about providing culturally competent counseling services that help break down these barriers and promote healing.

Lesly holds dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Forensic & Legal Psychology from Marymount University. She also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University. She is on the journey to becoming an independently licensed professional Counselor. She is supervised by Michelle Kauble M.S. LPC.

Outside of counseling, Lesly enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and embracing the outdoors with her dog.
