She/Her
Sam holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from VCU and is currently practicing as a supervisee in social work. Sam supports children, adolescents, and adults on their paths to emotional wellness and personal growth with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and a compassionate, client-centered approach.
Sam integrates several therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy. This flexible and personalized approach fosters insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change in a safe and supportive environment. Sam has several years of experience working with clients diagnosed with ADHD or autism and has helped create a well of coping skills for clients to draw from.
Outside the counseling space, Sam enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, playing board games with friends and family, and cross-stitching. These hobbies reflect a belief in the healing power of creativity, connection, lifelong learning, and mindful engagement—values that also inform their therapeutic work.
Sam is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and thrive.
